They show up at the beginning of the document. How can I either fix those or
get the program to ignore them and print as good as it gets with errors?
(This is under Lyx 1.3.3 for Windows. I also tried with lyx 1.3.5, but that
one finds errors in the middle of plain text (but doesn�t find those errors
at the beginning))

What does the LaTeX Configuration page (LyX Help menu) say with regard
to docbook (probably section 4.8 of the configuration page)? If it says
that you don't have it, that's the problem -- either it's not installed
or LyX can't find it for some reason.
