Old layout files

Several people have reported problems with customized layout files from 
LyX 1.3.x that would not work anymore in 1.4.0. It would be nice if those 
could test the new layout file conversion script that will go into 1.4.1. 
To do so, put the attached file stdsections.inc in .lyx/layouts and the 
file layout2layout.py in ~/.lyx/scripts/. Comment out all adjustments in 
the layout files that you may have made already for LyX 1.4.0, load 
documents using the problematic layout files, and report here whether it 
works or not.
