Hi, I installed Lyx 1.4.1 on a WinXp machine, when it got to the configuration part I got a message telling me that sh had dumped. Of course Lyx would not run, so I put the folder that had sh.exe in the path and then move to the resouce directory and ran sh and then typed "./configure" it did some configuration stuff. I was able to run Lyx but when I open the introduction from the help I get a dialog window with the following message "Using the default document class, because the class book is unknown" and of course de document does not look right. I cannot even see it through Yap I already uninstall and reinstall more than once but there is no difference I used the same installer on some other winxp computers and it works just fine.
