Thanks Rich, I investigated Koma years ago and for reasons I can't remember decided against it. I could revisit that decision, but I've already got a layout that's a derivative of Book, so I'd like to have a lot more reasons to go Koma than just the title page. If the only benefit is just the title page, I'd rather fine tune the title page with voluminous ERT the way I do my copyright page. Would Memoir do the same thing? I've already written one book with a Memoir derivative document class, so at least I have some experience with Memoir.
