The LyX/Mac binary is available here:

LyXOnMac>.) It is compiled for PPC only, though it apparently runs
well on Intel Macs via Rosetta.
If someone wants to compile an Intel version, contact me for tips
and/ or instructions as well as for help bundling it up with the
Installer and docs.
