pdf viewer

I installed LyX on a Mac running OS 10.4, and if I go to View > PDF  
(pdflatex), I see my document in pdf form with Adobe Reader just  
fine. However, I just installed LyX on another Mac (also with 10.4)  
and the default pdf viewer is Preview, which I hate. Unfortunately, I  
can't figure out how to globally change from Preview to Reader; I can  
do it for a specific document, but any new files are again viewed  
with Preview. What Preference (in either LyX or the Mac) is it that  
I'm missing?
