Hi all,

I'm not sure where to send the following (possibly useless) observation. It
relates to the menu layout in lyx 1.4.x. If it's better sent to another
list, which one is that?
Even though I now know that I should switch between open documents using the
View menu, rather than the Document menu, there's something somehow
counter-intuitive about it. I understand that I want to change the document
I am VIEWing, but as far as first instincts are concerned it is the DOCUMENT
I want to view, rather than the VIEW I want to change. Maybe I'm alone in
this, and if so the observation won't be useful.
Many other programmes use a Window menu for this. Other types of programmes
use these things tabs.
It's no problem, and perhaps I'll eventually get the hang of it, but I just
wonder if it isn't counter-intuitive for others too.

Thanks,

Declan
