I am VIEWing, but as far as first instincts are concerned it is the
DOCUMENT
I want to view, rather than the VIEW I want to change. Maybe I'm alone in

Many other programmes use a Window menu for this. Other types of
programmes
use these things tabs.
Tabs sounds like a nice idea, sure.
It's no problem, and perhaps I'll eventually get the hang of it, but I
just
wonder if it isn't counter-intuitive for others too.
You are not alone, I still click "document" when I want to switch.
Tabs would be even better though, and then we could remove this
from the menus.
