I just tried to install lyx through cygwin. Lyx starts fine but complains about missing texclass book. I guess I missed some tetex packages that should be listed as lyx' dependent packages. I also notice that math fonts are not working (\alpha etc) . Please test and report to me more such problems so that I can fix them in the next release of cygwin/lyx. Cheers, Bo
