LaTeX comes with the font "Zapf Chancery" (\usepackage{chancery}). Maybe that

That changes the default roman font. He just wanted to set a couple
words in script.
Bruce, I think you're going to have to use the LaTeX font selection
scheme in ERT. You could use Zapf Chancery as your script font. It's pzc
to LaTeX.
