I see an obvious misunderstanding here. To me, "LyX for X" suggests
a wiki page about "LyX for the X window system", as opposed to
LyX used with other windowing systems (such as microsoft windows).
You're right it's a bit confusing... Adding quotes could perhaps remove the
ambiguity? "LyX for 'X'"
Perhaps I don't know enough about the use of quotes
in english - but they don't make this clearer at all for me.
I still think of the 'X' window system - it is the primary
window system for LyX after all . . .
