The package savefnmark provides a simple ERT solution. Can developers implement a solution without ERT?
When I use savefnmark and hyperref I get both footnore-references as hyperlinks. However, while the first one (defined normally) works fine (i.e. it really points to the footnote), the second one (defined with useFN) does not work :-(
Maybe the best is to forget about hyperlinks?
You can use character styles: Put them into a file e.g. named "savefnmark.inc" and then use an "Input savefnmark.inc" into your document class layout (you should have to make a copy of "article.layout" for an article). Don't forget to reconfigure. Character styles are available from "Edit>TextStyle".
