I am trying to install a new class on Lyx 1.5.2 run against the latest TeX
distribution provided by Kubunt 7.10 (Gutsy). I am following the instruction
provided in the LyX manual:
copy the .cls file (it's a single file, not a package) to $TEXMF/tex/latex
texhash
LyX>Tools>Reconfigure
quit and restart LyX
However, the class does not appear in the options available from
Document>Settings>Document Class
On the other hand, the class is properly listed in the list provided by
Tools>TeX Information
Is there anything I am forgetting? Scanning the lys-users list and the wiki
proved useless.
