Hi Roberto,

thank you for your answer. I somehow do not get it to work. I am using a 
different
software for editing .bib files. Could you have a look at the entry that is
displayed correctly with the "lastchecked" field and copy and send it to me? 
That would
be great since I am not so sure how to apply in my .bib file what you told me 
with "the
General Group now reads
General:crossref;keywords;file;doi;url;lastchecked;citeseerurl;comment;owner;timestamp".

That would be great. Thank you.
