Hi Siegfried, Uwe, Thanks for your replies. I know I can type latex directly and get the result visually. But I could not find a way to go back to the source after I write a formula the first time. All editing then has to be done visually, which I personally do not like much. I was wondering if there was a way to 'toggle' between the visual representation and the latex source of a formula. By the way, I'm using version 1.3.7. and I do not seem to have an entry called 'Source' in the 'View' menu. Is this correct? Anyhow, Siegfried's workaround does not sound very convenient to me. Thanks, Joris
