It does not work, unfortunately. The reason is that LyX copies the files to the temp dir and mangles the file names to something unique (this seems to be necessary for several reasons). So the files that are processed by LyX have different names than those in your \includeonly statement. I don't see an easy solution besides implementing native includeonly support in LyX. Jürgen
