fine-tuning equation alignment

HI lyx users,

  I am writing a rather long equation and I'd like to get the = sign 
and the RHS on the next line. When I press Ctrl-Enter a line break is 
generated alright but the upper line is left aligned while the lower 
line is right aligned. this way the equation is still longer than the 
page width.

  Is there any way to get the =RHS part directly below the LHS on the 
next line?

  I am using v1.5.3 on Fedora 8 / i686.
