Ethan, I'm not trying to convert a typeface from one format to another, just install the Type1 glyphs into LaTeX. It's a complex procedure involving putting the .atm, .pb, and other files in the right place. And this is with the supposedly-simplified new style font system. When I get the syntax for cropping the .eps file using 'convert' I'll be able to import it into the document, and that's ultimately what I need. Many thanks, Rich -- Richard B.
