Boy I wish LyX still supported Xforms. That ALWAYS compiled!

I'm trying to perform the ./configure step on my Mandriva 2007 32 bit OS,
Athlon XP2600+ with 1.5GB RAM.

When I run ./configure, it does this:

qt 4 library not found !

Reading INSTALL, I set $QTDIR to /usr/lib/qt4, which looks like this:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] lyx-1.5.3]$ cd $QTDIR
[EMAIL PROTECTED] qt4]$ pwd
/usr/lib/qt4

I wish the error message would tell me exactly why it believes I don't have
QT4 installed. Then I could fix the problem. Perhaps it's nothing but a
missing symlink, but with an error message like that, I can't tell.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks
