Hi all,

A lot of my writing involves running commands in a Linux graphical terminal
(xterm, aterm, rxvt, etc) and copying the multiline results to a LyX-Code
environment in the doc I'm writing. Unfortunately, this is very difficult in
LyX 1.5.3 running on Linux (Mandriva 2007 32 bit).

On multiline copies, Edit->Paste in LyX usually removes linefeeds.
Edit->pastespecial->text puts in the last thing copied or cut from LyX,
unless I first paste into Vim and then copy that and paste it into LyX.
Sometimes even that doesn't work (I think it depends on the graphical
terminal).

I know cut and paste is implemented poorly in Linux, but it's usually not this
bad. Is there any way to improve interprogram cut and paste in LyX?

Thanks
