Eh... what do you mean "in the middle"? I've created a draft page, and put a copy of the page in a section there under the headingVersion 1 - as per Rich's suggestion in the page http://wiki.lyx.org/LyX/Welcome-Draft
Christian, What I meant was everything in the main page. If you look at some other wikis (e.g., http://gentoo-wiki.com/Main_Page, http://wiki.linuxquestions.org/wiki/Main_Page, and http://wiki.linux.net.nz/) you'll see that what loads is the first page. Limited introductory text and lots of ways of finding what you're looking for. _I_ don't see a need to explain what a wiki is, just lay out the sections so the user can find what s/he wants quickly. At the same time, there could be a section on how to sign up to edit the wiki, or to add new pages. But, all of that are in the appropriate sections. Regardless, I appreciate the time and effort you've spent on this, and it is a valuable resource. My suggestion was meant to streamline it. BTW, I had to modify the koma2-letter preamble to remove the page numbers in the footer (as they are already in the header). Be glad to send a new preamble along. It does produce nice letters ... and letter proposals. Rich -- Richard B.
