Thanks a Lot, Bob... also John for your suggestion. It has been successfully updated to 1.5.5. It runs much faster than before, the DVI is very nice so I can walk through the text easily.

Just download it and save it somewhere. Then extract it (I just right-click and say Extract Here). Then open a terminal and browse to the extracted directory and 'do the rest (./configure, etc)'. In Ubuntu you will have to do: ./configure make sudo make install Also, try to search in Synaptic for 'aiksaurus' the libaiksaurus-dev package should show up.
