Hello:

I am a new LYX and Latex user and I am trying to setup an interrupted list
in enumerate. I have been trying to understand how this can be done from the
LYX on line documentation, but I really don´t understand what I have to do.
For instance, in the following page: http://wiki.lyx.org/LyX/Numbering it
is adviced to a package like enumerate.sty. Is this package installed
somehow? It also say that "There are several ways to accomplish this using
the familiar LaTeX enumerate environment, all of which require using either
ERT or the preamble."
The problem is that I don´t even know what is an ERT!

I would be most grateful if someone can help me getting started!

I use Windows XP and LYX 1.5.6. My document class is an article (AMS) and I
am uisng the sciword bind file.

Thanks!!!
