Hello:

I am a new LYX and Latex user and I am trying to setup an interrupted list
in enumerate. I have been trying to understand how this can be done from the
LYX on line documentation, but I really don´t understand what I have to do.
For instance, in the following page: http://wiki.lyx.org/LyX/Numbering it
is adviced to a package like enumerate.sty. Is this package installed
somehow?
Probably your LaTeX installation has the package installed.

It also say that "There are several ways to accomplish this using
the familiar LaTeX enumerate environment, all of which require using either
ERT or the preamble."

That probably ought to be "and". The best solutions will require you to modify the preamble (Document>Settings>Preamble) and to add some ERT.

The problem is that I don´t even know what is an ERT!

You should start, then, by reading the User's Guide, under the help menu. ERT is described in section 6.9. In short, this means inserting raw LaTeX into your LyX document.
