No, this has nothing to do with what she needs. BibTeX is just a more convenient way to organize the references.That said, your girlfriend really should use a BibTeX editor. I can't myself get this working without doing it that way. Download JabRef for her. It's /very/ easy to use.I'll try but I believe that won't do what she needs.... I mean, putting some kind of note next to words here and there and see the corresponding bibliography entry at the end of the book / chapter...
