Dear listers I have a problem running the biblatex package on my Mac (not a problem with the installation, the wiki howto is crystal clear and works); I can find no way of using my .bib file when it is not stored in the texmf root folder. Contrariwise to Windows+Miktex where you can easily access the files and folders, on OS X, you have to log in as admin to add, edit, delete files the root texmf folders (not to mention texhash, etc.). As a result, it is not very convenient as such, when I make additions to my bib file, which is frequent, since I am writing a long paper. When I used bibtex, I coud store the bib wherever I wanted, provided I pointed the native lyx menus to the location. Is there a know workaround to the problem I have? I have found nothing conclusive in my googling on that subject. I would be so grateful for any hint! All the best matt
