Hello,
I have been using lyx for ages and think it is a wonderful program that really
fills a need. Congrats for that!
However, for the first time I have run into a problem that I cant seem to fix.
Note I am mainly a (linux) user and not some hard core scripting/os/.. guru :)
The problem:
I have a local layout that simply extends the article layout (so I can use lyx
with the asme2e.cls class) This has worked fine with me before.
However when I export using ps2pdf the pdf generates fine, except the
references refuse to show (Errors below). I switched from the asme bibtex
style to plain but I still get the same errors so it does not seem to be due
to the custom style. I have also trimmed my bibtex file to a single reference
(in case it contained some weird characters or something) but the problem
remains.
Im running on OpenSuse 11.0 with kde 4.2 and lyx 1.6.0.

PS: as a sidenote, I cannot export using pdflatex because it complains about
"Cannot determine size of graphic" when exporting (I use eps figures). Strange
since I recall this working before with other papers...
PPS: opensuse does not seem to offer 1.6.1, I tried installing the rpm from the
lyx site manually but am missing a dependency that I cannot find in the
opensuse repos
