Installing LaTeX packages doesn't work this way. Either you do it as you tried, but then you need to
refresh LaTeX's file name database using MiKTeX's options.
The easiest way is to use MiKTeX's package manager to install the caption
package.
In any case reconfigure LyX afterwards.
But anyway, MiKTeX should download missing LaTeX-package automatically when you have an open
Internet connection and reconfigure LyX. When this doesn't work, open MiKTeX's options and set there
the option "Install missing packages on the fly".
