It is well known that ooolatex is buggy and often fails. I would try to use eLyXer to convert your
document to HTML and then open the result With OpenOffice 3 and save it as RTF or whatever you like.

But don't expect too much. When you need a nice DOC file, you have to write your file with
OpenOffice or Word.
