I've bougth a asus eee pc (running a "special version" of windows xp) in
which i've installed Lyx 1.6.3 (plus the latest versions ghostscript and
gsview) in order to work w/ my LyX files... All went smoothly except
when I want to preview the ?ps version? of my docs: after opening gsview
the following error msg appears

gs: Interpreter revision (864) does not match gs_init.ps revision (863).
gsapi_init_with_args returns -100
If I uninstall ghostscript then I can view the ps preview w/ gsview.
I've tried to re-install ghostscript and gsview (not LyX).
Can someone help me? I don't know if there's need for further details!
Hi,
With and without ghostscript installed, what do you have in gsview, in
"Options->Easy Configure..." ?
It should show you if you have more than one version installed.
Also, according to
http://pages.cs.wisc.edu/~ghost/gsview/gsviewen.htm#Common_Problems
you should check also the "Ghostscript include path" in the
"Options->Advanced Configure..."
Maybe all you need it to change the 8.63 to 8.64 there.
