 I have a Lyx 1.6.4 (beamer) doc created on Ubuntu 9.10.

I have moved it to a WINXP box with Lyx 1.6.5

It opens fine but won't compile. I have tried DVI, PDFLatex and PS2PDF
all with the same errors

I get 4 errors Undefined control sequence
 \m...@language{english}
The control sequence at the end of the top line
of your error message was never \def'ed. If you have
misspelled it (e.g., `\hobx'), type `I' and the correct
spelling (e.g., `I\hbox'). Otherwise just continue,
and I'll forget about whatever was undefined.

Latex error : missing \Begin {document}

You're in trouble here. Try typing <return> to proceed.
If that doesn't work, type X <return> to quit.

Anyone any suggestions, the language settings seem to match, but that is
probably a too simplistic interpretation of the error messages.

Many thanks,

Check the latex installation on the troubled computer. Is babel missing, or is there no support for "english" ?
