Hi:

I noticed that the Windows version of Lyx is using CRLF line endings in
the *.lyx files it generates. This is a little annoying as I'm editing
some files in a repository with both the Linux and Windows versions and
the diffs get screwed up with the newline thrashing. Is there some way I
can change this behavior?

What sort of repository? Versioning systems frequently have an option
you can set to translate line endings on the fly (as do some
diff/merge programs, I think).

If I remember right, this was recently discussed on devel, and the decision was precisely this one: Line ending stuff should be handled by the versioning system.
