Hi Rob, thanks for your quick answer ;-) Now i got the layout file.
I ran into little problems because it seems the document class has been designed using lyx 2.0, and I#m still using 1.6.6.1. After a bit of brute force 'backporting' (Changing the format numbers in both, the *.lyx and the *.layout files and commenting out one line (concerning the children) in the *.lyx file, some header errors are shown the first time but after changing something (and thus probably overwriting the cause of these errors) it is working fine.
