I'm sorry about that Hellmut, I've been using LyX 2.0 exclusively for months and I tend to forget that layou files and enhancements released for the newer versions will not always work with the old. Glad to hear that you got it working, though.
If you run into any other problems, please let me know. Also, if there are any feature enhancements you think would be worthwhile, that would also be good to hear. Though I feel somewhat guilty about it, I like using the mailing list as a laboratory for different projects. There is a tremendously diverse group of people here and I get a wide range of feedback that helps to improve my various projects.
