how is the latex code "\left(" typed in best in math code? Every
time I type \left( the bracket is not associated to the \left
command such that I need to use back space every time.
It works here correctly when I enter "\left(" without pressing any
space.
Thx a lot. Just perfect!
Btw: What is the short for | - which is not meant to be \mid. Since I
need brackets and the absolute signs big enough to "embrace" hugh
formulae.
Btw. if you need the same type of brackets left and right, you can use
e.g. the shortcut "Alt+M (". This creates in the background
\left(\right). See also the Math manual, sec. 5.1.2 "Automatic Bracket
Size".
I realized that it is always a good idea to consult the manuals.
