In my view, it is correct to have the help files write-protected, but it is a pity (or a bug) that the thesaurus does not work for them. Use case: When reading the Manual in a foreign language (maybe because there is no translation to ones mothertongue) a thesaurus can help to get the meaning of less common words. Günter
