Is there an option (preference setting perhaps) that will cause LyX to start up with an empty document? I'm finding it increasingly tedious whenever I open LyX to have to do a Cmd-N as the first action before I can start type. At the moment the default settings mean I get the splash screen displayed and then I must explicitly create a new document.
