Hi, with LyX 1.6.x the Option- and Command- keys had the same (duplicate) mappings. You could type Option-m or Command-m - both did activate the math-mode. This had the drawback that many characters available on mac were hidden - like ยต (Option-m). That's why it's now only Command-m in LyX-2.0. Please, study the list of short cuts in the Help -> Shortcuts document. Stephan
