Unless you are doing this just for testing purposes, we really do not
advise it. Trunk (i.e., what will
become 2.1.0) is not guaranteed to be stable.
Regarding the crash, you can report it on trac:

You'll need to create an account first if you don't have one. What would
really help is if you could
figure out a way to reproduce the crash.
