Here is an example. I have commented out (%) the TeX commands.
If you run it this way, it shows the unwanted behaviour (too long left 
column)
If you activate the the TeX commands by taking % out,
the two columns are of the same lenght, but they are in a column.

How could I achieve to have the Abstract Text in only two columns but of 
equal length?

Yes.

I insert begin multiple colums 2
abstract text 
end multiple colums

But I get the same result as without using this module

I think this module does not work if it spans more than a section
