Dear Sir/Mdm,
I am a first time user of Lyx (or LaTex) and therefore completely new to it. I
installed the software for Mac, read the Intro and as I started the tutorial, i
was unfortunately already stuck at the first step.
I am not able to create a PDF file as the 'eyeballs' icon are in grey and thus
do not work.
Could you kindly tell me if you know what could be the problem?
Also, each time i open a file under HELP function, i get a message with a
yellow triangle that says:
'The selected document class book requires external files that are not
available etc'. Is this normal?
