One thin that should be defined precisely, and which is not always
clear to me, is whether arguments use end of line as delimiter, as in 
  \command foo bar
or another sort of scoping, as
  \command "foo bar"

It seems to me that LyXLex::next(), LyXLex::nextToken and
LyXLex::eatLine().
