where does this leave LyX 1.0?

I'm reading religious debates about file structures, a lot of discussion
about a single original documentclass "hollywood" (whereas I suppose
including lots would be ideal), more talk of graphics toolkit independence,
the reemergence of ps ghosts ...

Is 1.0 still in site?  Or are these issues for post 1,0?
