The item I was searching for (but did not find, perhapeth bcuz I'm lazy)was power requirements for the NEC models.Just bought a couple off ebay (have not arrived yet) and the picturesof the sticker on the bottom of the unit LOOKSlike it says 6v @ 800mw. round that up to 1watt, convert to ma, and my math says at 6v, it needs around 160ma,or, based on the power requirement of the 8.5V listed at the DC jack, 120ma,rounding up again. I know this has been discussed before. is a 9VDC @300maadapter sufficent, (400ma-6V is on the tandy models), or do I need an 500ma/800ma supply?I think I'm right, (9VDC@300 is plenty)but getting other opinions helps increase the accuracy.ray
