I used Raspbian in my testing. I run Mono for work on Pi's, but they are all Pi 2's. Not sure if that would make any difference. These were added to support the Model T CP/M project but they are there and documented so could be used for anything. BTW I have some tips in case you ever find your Pi filesystems getting corrupted.
