I have been kinda following this thread and need to throw my 2 cents.

I am also in agreement with Sean and a few others that, yes the Facebook group
is just another medium to discuss our loved toys. I am a avid member of a lot
of lists and Groups, both. I find from the Coco Facebook group(s) there is
information not on the lists. Mainly the ability to have photos and videos
posted where many of the lists don’t allow or have the capability of it. Also
groups on Facebook have led me into FPGA devices for recreating and updating
old hardware that does not exist anymore. And yes I do have quite a few ideas
about a FPGA device on the Model-T doing the full disk video interface coming
from the expansion port with things like SD card support and Wifi as well as
full SVGA.

There will always be people with an opinion about Facebook (which are valid
points) but there are also other providers that do groups as well. For
instance Google, Yahoo and many others.

My main use of Facebook, is the contact with Family members as we are spread
all over the world. The addition of the groups just accents it a bit more.
