Hello from the Lake District, UK! I didn't use a Tandy 'back in the day' but seem to now have a collection - at least one of ach model. My plan is to install a Raspberry Pi Zero in my Model 102 or 200 and use it as a 'terminal to the world' but I haven't quite got round to it yet!
I love the ability to compute outdoors, even on a very bright day, which you don't get with many modern day devices. I think it's a usage pattern for computers which is sorely lacking these days. Why can't I enjoy the sun and some programming, writing, surfing etc at the same time. Regards. I got into computers in high school in the early 80s, and have been recently taking a look back at the things I missed first time around, and came across the M100. Bought one off eBay and have been trying to write a few programs. Seems a classic little machine. I imagine it would have really been something to have! Great to have such a friendly, knowledgeable board too. Cheers, Anita Sent from my iPad > On 24 Jun 2016, at 8:05 am, "John R. How did you come to the hobby, how do you use your model T, and of course if you are having trouble getting started please ask. > > Cheers, > > -- John. >
