I think the serial cable will work on both, but the utility disk is
different. I haven't actually used a tppd1 cable on a tppd2, I'm just
saying it looks like it should work the same, electronics included.

And for the love of god from now on when a 30 year old thing stops working,
just chuck it on ebay or something! Other people are willing and able to
diagnose and repair it, or use it to source parts!
