So, I finally got around to re-working my last failed REX. I removed
the flash chip and cleaned that side of the board really well. There
was a LOT of flux under that flash chip. I think my choice of flux is
very wrong for this project -- I plan to get a liquid flux pen for
future work. Anyway, with the flash chip removed, the CPLD programmed
with no problems. I re-populated the flash chip again but haven't had
time to try REX programming. This is the third time this flash chip
has been soldered so I hope it lives to tell the tale! If it does
work, I'll probably sell it on fleaBay since I only have a single
Tandy and don't plan on getting another Model T anytime soon.

Thanks for all the support!
