Rex is mostly just for roms. You can *sort of* use rex as a pseudo ram expansion by using it's backup/restore feature, but it's really not great for that, since you're savingvand restoring backups not really switching between ram banks.
All the actual ram expansions I've seen are only for model 100 not 102, because they have to plug in to the system bus and they use the 100s dip socket not the 102's idc header. I think ReMem had a 102 version but I've never seen one, but you would still have another problem anyway: Video expansion? Do you mean you want a Disk/Video Interface? The DVI uses the system bus. You can't have both a DVI and a ram expansion connected at the same time, as they both use the system bus, and there is only one system bus connector. Then again, if you have a DVI connected, then you have at least 145K of disk space available outside of your ram. I think the simplest answer for the software is to use ultimate rom 2, or super rom. Both of those have their own versions of those standard apps, and it's all in the rom so your ram stays mostly free for documents and data. If you have a rex, then it's easy to load UR2 or SR, or both, into it. -- bkw On Dec 27, 2017 11:55 AM, "Darryl Pruett" <[email protected]> wrote: What softwares are available? I had so much once.
